These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings, tours, and experiences provided by The Great Abaco Express (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a tour, participating in our programs, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Booking & Payment

Reservations: All bookings must be made in advance through our office, website, or authorized agents.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Client Cancellations:

Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the tour: full refund (minus deposit).

Cancellations made 7–14 days prior: 50% refund.

Cancellations within 7 days: no refund.

Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients may choose between a full refund or rescheduling.
3. Safety & Responsibilities

Health & Fitness: Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs prior to travel. Certain tours may not be suitable for individuals with mobility restrictions.

Parental/Guardian Responsibility: For student field trips, schools and guardians remain responsible for supervising children at all times unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Compliance: Guests must follow the instructions of guides and staff for safety and preservation of the environment. Failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Alcohol & Substances: Consumption of alcohol or illegal substances during tours is strictly prohibited.
4. Liability & Insurance

Assumption of Risk: Participation in outdoor activities, water sports, and excursions involves inherent risks. By joining, participants accept these risks.

Liability Waiver: The Great Abaco Express is not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to property unless caused by proven negligence.

Insurance: We strongly recommend that all participants obtain travel and medical insurance prior to joining a tour.
5. Changes to Itinerary

Weather & Safety: We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational requirements.

Substitutions: If a scheduled site/activity is unavailable, we will provide an equivalent alternative of similar value.
6. Accessibility & Inclusivity

We strive to make our tours accessible to all travelers. However, not all sites may be fully accessible due to natural terrain.

Guests with accessibility needs should notify us in advance so we can make reasonable accommodations.
7. Use of Images & Media

By participating, guests grant The Great Abaco Express permission to use photos or video taken during tours for marketing purposes, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Parents/guardians must provide consent for photos of minors.
8. Conduct & Behavior

Respect for local communities, wildlife, and cultural sites is expected at all times.

Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
9. Privacy & Data Protection

Data is used solely for the purposes of processing bookings, ensuring safety, and providing services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Any disputes will be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of Bahamian courts.
